De Farm is a thoughtfully planned land development project in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai, designed to support a lifestyle that embraces both simplicity and sustainability. The project owner envisioned a place where organic farming and urban-inspired living could come together in harmony.

To bring this vision to life, the landscape architect created a masterplan that includes rice fields, vegetable gardens, a horse stable, barns for ducks and buffaloes, and residential spaces. These elements are carefully woven together with a natural water management system and small check dams, designed to store water for agricultural use, animal care, and daily living.

The result is a well-balanced environment that nurtures both nature and contemporary life.

The design also places importance on preserving native trees already present on the site. New plantings were introduced selectively adding visual richness to the landscape, while also supporting future use as renewable energy sources.
