Baan Panya Residence project encompasses a comprehensive landscape renovation, integrated with the refurbishment of the existing dwelling. The landscape development will be segmented into two primary zones: the immediate vicinity of the original house and the expanded garden plot at the rear, which will feature a new onsen facility. This will be complemented by an "East meets West" garden design, fostering a unique yet cohesive ambiance.
The residential garden incorporates a central koi pond, complemented by a garden and a viewing trellis, all designed in a tropical garden aesthetic. A prominent tree is strategically placed as an island within the pond, offering both shade and thermal regulation. A pathway then guides visitors through the garden, connecting to the rear area via a moon gate, which frames the landscape of the rear garden much like a painting. The initial section of the garden exhibits a Japanese influence, aligning with the architectural style of the onsen building, with a focus on tree specimens, intricate textures, and distinctive forms. Subsequently, the design transitions to a European garden ambiance, characterized by a diverse array of colorful flowers, enveloping the lawn area and a pavilion structure. This pavilion serves as a tranquil resting spot for tea enjoyment and scenic appreciation, allowing for a simultaneous appreciation of both garden styles.
